Lipari Island Star fort?

Hi everyone,

Not sure about this but to me looks like Lipari Castle was built on an old star fort.
Lipari is one of the Aeolian island in Messina province, Sicily, Italy.

little Amfitheater in the south point of the star Colm ;)
