Ticonderoga Anomalies

Post by Jww427 » Tue Apr 23, 2019 4:49 pm

Here is famous Fort Ticonderoga that we all know and love in NY.
It was an important spot in the American Revolution.
I see polygonal fields and tree lines around the fort.

We can assume that the town of Ticonderoga was an ancient settlement.
Given that, I wonder if the La Chute river wasn't human-made in spots. Its a tributary off the Hudson River.
Theres no doubt in my mind that it looks like an human-manipulated ancient canal in spots.

I also found a polygonal ruin in the left hand field off the fort.
"Oh, that's just the old Dutch barn. Nothing to see here. Move along." Says the park ranger, an ex-CIA operative gone grey and crabby.

The spit off the fort peninsula looks like it could have connected with the west side
in ancient times. Perhaps a draw bridge? Hmmm...

I find the causeway road that runs over the possible canal to be ancient too. Why didn't they connect it further up?
That would have been far easier. Hmmm...

Oh, those frisky ancients!
