Bizarre 'Fountains' and water features. Flood defences?
I noticed that a lot of old cities, maybe starfort cities have been built over aquifers & salt plugs, that are less than 400 m under the surface.
Artesian wells or fountains will flow as long as there is enough pressure to push the water up.
I think salt was used to generate electricity.
