Old maps of Germany

Post by Fenton » Fri Apr 26, 2019 9:12 pm

I'm new to this looking at old maps and I'm sure some of you will probably groan at my naivity, but Holy Crap, there are some gems out there! I was looking at this site - http://tudigit.ulb.tu-darmstadt.de/show ... docval+asc - found by searching for old maps on startpage.com (I avoid google).

It's mainly German locations - and many of the old maps are littered with Star Civ locations that have since been demolished or repurposed.

This map has many Star Civ structures of differing shapes and sizes all over it - e.g. if you follow the Rhein from Coblenz southwards, there is a star sctruture at every major city along it. The Rhein used to be a very large canal.
