Share info on your Favorite Star Forts

Hi Folks,
Fenton has agreed to add this topic to Starfort Locations. I think it a helpful addition to direct travelers toward the best experience in visiting starforts. That means sharing your previous experiences and photos of starforts that are the most amenable for touring. For newbies I would imagine that starfort visits could be overwhelming. Its one thing to be an armchair traveler on google earth, but trying to take in a starfort on the ground is a whole other matter.
Also helpful would be suggestions on where to stay, eat, and other nearby historical sights to visit.
I'm heading to Europe this summer and want to visit starforts. I hear Belgium and Netherlands have the most accessible and beautifully preserved ones. Which ones?
