Fort Frederick Maryland USA

On the ground at Fort Frederick.
This fort was said to be built in 1756 during the French and Indian War.
The earthworks here are astounding, and are seemingly bloody everywhere!
The he fort has only a little of the original bastion earthworks, but they are there all right.
I call your attention to 2 neighboring constructions:
The first is the presumably ancient C and O Canal, and the second is the Big Pool for which the nearby town is named after.
I believe the watersheds were part of the original settlement and may have been a fish hatchery.
Another anomaly is the square shaped one with pine trees around it.
I sneaked in and took a pic of a perfectly square mound around 3 feet high with PVC pipes
sticking out. Full-on ancient platform like Cahokia.
Another strange thing is the rectangular drain and water treatment facility thats owned by the Maryland Environmental Service. MES.
It has earthworks all around it. A strange blue water was in a fountain for air mixture. I don't know what for.
The visitor center and parking lot I think is covering up more earthworks and archeology. We Americans like to build things pretty square
or rectangular, its easier!
Lastly, my wife and I noticed a super-large amount of massive cell/radio towers along RT 70, named after General Eisenhower.
I believe they are built along one of the Ley Lines that intersect the fort.
The Germans built all their bunkers and radio towers along Ley Lines in WW2.
